Simon Werner (born 05/24/1971) is a German actor. Finishing his education in Leipzig he soon got on stage in this city: The Schauspiel Leipzig became a home to the young actor.

In the years following Simon was casted for various popular TV productions such as Cobra 11, Tatort and SOKO Leipzig. But, as many parts in stage plays attest, he always remained true to the theatre. Playing a leading role in the film Hundsköpfe by Karsten Laske he made his first impression on the cinema screen.

In 2005 several guest parts as well as appearances in TV series brought him back to Leipzig.

Simons other great ambition is flying. For more than twenty years the skies have been a second home to him. Where there once was the boy climbing in his glider theres now the aviator piloting multi-engined aeroplanes. From 2007 on Simon, trying to spend as much time flying as possible, is also working as a flight instructor.
